Regatta Royalty is an esteemed and highly sought-after title that many IUPUI students consider a significant achievement. Students crowned as Regatta Royalty receive a $500 scholarship and get to serve as ambassadors for IUPUI, helping promote the Regatta event and representing the university at various events throughout the academic year. Once students apply and interview, semi-finalists are selected to be on the Regatta Court, and court members participate in Regatta Week activities leading up to the event earning points. Part of the selection process also involves votes from IUPUI students, faculty, and staff.
Applications go live on Friday, April 14 and close on Aug. 27. Interviews will be conducted in September, and the winners will be announced at the 2023 Regatta on Saturday, Sept. 30.
